Fortuity Fitness capabilities
Last updated Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Every capability below comes with the mechanism that produces it and a way to check it.
What it is
A training home for people who lift, take follow-along classes, or both. It runs on your phone and your computer in the browser. It keeps the program you already run, the classes you take, and the trainers you follow on one record, with coaching that reads your own history.
Logging a set
| Capability | Mechanism | How to check it |
|---|---|---|
| Last time and next target | Every exercise shows your last session's numbers and a next target by double progression: same weight, one more rep, until the top of the range, then more weight. | Log 200 x 10, 9, 8. The next target reads 200 x 10, 9, 9, "Same weight, one more rep on set 3." |
| One tap on a prefilled set | Weight and reps start from last time. One-thumb steppers adjust them, and Log set saves the set and starts the rest timer. | Tap Log set once on an unchanged set. |
| A typed line | Rules parse a line like bench 185 for 8, 8, 7 into an exercise, a weight, and sets. A model reads the lines the rules leave open, and its numbers are checked against what you typed before anything lands. | Type the line. The preview shows Bench Press, 185 lb, 3 sets: 8, 8, 7. |
| Tempo window | An optional tempo field works out time under tension and shows it against a target window. | Tempo 1-1-3 on a set of 10 reads 50 seconds, in the 45 to 60 window. |
| Entries go on the phone first | Every log is written to an outbox on the device, with its own key, and one flush sends it. Anything that needs another try appears on a visible list with a Try again button. | Log a set with no signal, then reconnect. |
Programs
- Your own notes become a program. Type or paste notes, and a parser reads weeks, days, exercises, sets, reps, and tempo, and matches each move to the exercise library. You review the result, then save and run it. It is marked as your notes.
- Setup: seven questions on goal, experience, equipment, days a week, injuries to train around, who you follow, and your look. Your first week is built around the answers, with moves swapped to suit a named injury.
Classes
- A class is its own record: date, name, creator or studio, minutes, type (sculpt, strength, dance cardio, recovery, prenatal, postpartum, and others), body focus, and optional calories and average heart rate.
- One tap logs today's planned class. Any other class takes a name, minutes, and type, with the rest behind Add more.
- A day built around a class leads with the class. A lifting day leads with the set logger. Dumbbell work on a class day logs as lifts.
History and progress
- One calendar holds classes and lifts. Your streak counts both.
- Classes: count and minutes over the last four weeks, and body focus in minutes.
- Lifts: estimated one-rep max on loaded lifts, and sets by muscle by week.
- Standards: your lifts against a labeled population reference compiled from published strength standards.
- Side by side: an invite link pairs two people, and each sees the other's progress as percentages against their own start, never as raw weight.
- Finished workout card: finishing a session draws a card with the day, top sets, and any new best, and sends it as an image through the share sheet.
Form and trainers
- Exercise library: 871 exercises with how-to steps and a muscle map of primary and secondary muscles.
- Trainer video: plays at a set moment in the official video player, with nothing positioned over it.
- Your pinned cue: your own note sits beside the exercise, marked as from your notes.
- Feed: public video feeds from the trainers you follow, shown with thumbnail, title, date, and trainer, and ranked by who you follow and the muscles in today's session.
Coach
- From your own record. The coach reads your log and notes. Rules answer first, with a model behind them.
- It shows its source. Advice that used yesterday's work names that session: "Yesterday's class worked your legs. Go easier on lower body today."
- Next weight for every lift, and swaps that work around an injury you named at setup.
- Scope: coaching only, never medical advice.
Looks
- Iron (graphite, bold type) and Atelier (warm, editorial), each in light and dark, chosen by taste.
- The words and defaults follow your goal: lifting leads with sets and estimated maxes, classes lead with classes, minutes, and body focus.
